In this role, you will: • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies • Seeking ways to improve our process by collaborating with the engineering team, operations and consultants on new process development, quality assurance initiatives, day-to-day troubleshooting, and evaluation test work • Support the Project Management team in evaluating vendor proposals, progressing designs, completing the project framework documents, support RFP's, scheduling, cost control, construction execution and commissioning • Participate in multi-disciplinary professional teams, support activity projects, prepare and deliver environmental awareness materials to employees • Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business Requirements: • Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Civil or Projects Engineering or Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Materials Engineering with a passion for project based work • Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and a solid understanding of AutoCAD and Solidworks would be advantageous Benefits: • Receive financial assistance for travel expenses and co-op fees • Acquire hands-on experience applying academic knowledge to real-world mining operations, fostering the development of technical skills • Benefit from mentorship and guidance offered by seasoned specialists in their respective fields • Gain a competitive edge, securing primary consideration for professional positions upon graduation Salary: $4,867 - $6,167 CAD/month Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
