These terms are the agreement between you and Internie, operated by Toby Berger ("Internie", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be read, not skimmed, so they are short.
1. What Internie is
Internie finds internships that match your profile and, when you ask it to, fills in and submits the employer's application form for you using the information you gave us. It is a tool that acts on your instructions. It is not a recruiter, an employer, or a guarantee of anything.
Internie is in early access. Features may change, some job boards are not supported yet, and some applications will need you to finish them by hand. We will tell you when that happens.
2. Your account and your profile
- You must be at least 16 to use Internie and 18 to use Auto-Apply. Employers ask about age; we do not guess it.
- Everything in your profile must be true and about you. Internie types your answers into real applications with real employers, and you are the applicant. Never create a profile for someone else without their permission, and never invent experience, degrees, work authorization or identity.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. How applications work
- Nothing is submitted unless you click Apply on a posting, paste a posting link, or turn on Auto-Apply. Auto-Apply submits to postings above the minimum fit you set, up to your daily cap, and you can turn it off at any time.
- Internie answers form questions only from your profile and resume. Questions it cannot answer truthfully from that information are handed back to you as Your turn; the application is not submitted until you finish it.
- Internie never bypasses CAPTCHAs, login walls or bot checks. When a form has one, it stops and hands the application back to you.
- Once an application is submitted to an employer, it is theirs. We cannot withdraw it for you, and the employer's own terms and privacy policy apply to it.
4. Applications, plans and refunds
- Every account starts with free applications. Paid plans add more applications each billing period plus Auto-Apply and other features described on the pricing page.
- One credit is used per submitted application. If an application fails or is handed back to you, the credit is returned automatically.
- Unused applications do not roll over. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments, when they are turned on, are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Internie to apply under a false identity, to apply to the same posting repeatedly, to harass or spam employers or recruiters, to scrape or resell our data, or to break any law or any employer's application rules. We can suspend accounts that do.
6. No guarantees
We work hard to make Internie accurate, but we cannot promise that any application will be submitted successfully, that a form will be filled perfectly, or that you will get an interview or an offer. Internie is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Your data
How we handle your information is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You can export or delete your data from Settings at any time.
8. Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you like. We can close accounts that break these terms. Sections 5 through 9 survive the end of the agreement.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. If something here is unclear or you have a dispute, write to us first at [email protected]; most things can be sorted out with an email.
