At Foth, our co-op program immerses you in real-world engineering challenges from day one. As a Process Engineering Co-op, you'll apply your classroom knowledge while supporting process and utility engineering projects for a variety of industrial clients. Based in Green Bay, WI, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on projects involving piping systems, process equipment, utilities infrastructure, and facility improvements. Spanning Summer-Fall 2027, this opportunity provides hands-on experience with engineering analysis, design, and project execution and may include travel to client sites, offering firsthand exposure to how engineering solutions are implemented in operating facilities. Primary Responsibilities: • Assist with field data gathering under the direction of a process engineer • Create and maintain clear and accurate design documents (P&IDs, equipment plans, piping drawings, photo drawings) • Assist with CADD in the preparation of drawings for process and utility system related projects • Understand, interpret, and develop design and construction specifications • Perform standard process system calculations (pump sizing, material and energy balance, fluid flow analysis, valve and instrument sizing) • Develop equipment lists Required Qualifications: • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program • GPA of 3.0 or greater Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience with and/or coursework involving P&IDs • Previous experience with and/or coursework involving standard process calculations (pump sizing, valve and instrument sizing, fluid flow analysis) • Previous experience with equipment specification and procurement support (obtaining quotes, vendor contact/follow-up)
