Engineer Summer Intern - #3034

What We Offer:   Employee Resource Groups and Programs offered include the Young Professionals Group, Women at Wade Trim, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Professional Development, Leadership Development, Mentor Program, Sustainability Program, and Wellness Program.   Position Description: Typical responsibilities include: • Interpret project plans and specifications • Conduct field inspections and maintain work item quantities • Conduct field or laboratory material test • Maintain project files and record drawings • Prepare construction reports • Perform soil erosion control and sediment control inspections • Review technical data for adherence with project requirements • Assist with preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities • Assist with/review scope, budget and schedule of new project tasks • Monitor task budget and progress • Prepare project status and other reports • Assist in the preparation of proposals • Assist Project Managers • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc. • Attend seminars and/or training classes • Maintain excellent client relations • Maintain a safe working environment Education: • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction Engineering or Concrete Technology. Skills/Experience: • Valid Driver’s License
