Assists the cooks and cook helpers in preparation of student meals in compliance with government and management directives. Essential Functions: • Perform clean‑up and sanitation duties in the food preparation, storage and dish room areas to ensure adequate health standards at all times. • Provide adequate supply of food and transfer merchandise ingredients to cooking area as instructed by the cook or designee. • Student snack bar, clean outside area and other duties as assigned in the Admin Building. Must be reliable and willing to work evenings and some weekends. Education and Experience Requirements: • Must be a completer and ready for work-based learning. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must be a current Job Corps Center Student currently enrolled in the Culinary Arts program, preferred. • Qualified students will, at a minimum, have their student card.
