High Energy Laser intern

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is searching for an technical intern to support Department of Defense programs in research,  development, risk reduction, and testing of high-energy lasers. Tasks will cover a range of disciplines including hardware integration, testing, modeling, and software development. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent team skills and flexibility to work with our team to conduct tests and implement developmental hardware.   Required Skills: • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Optics, Physics, or Engineering • Minimum 3.5 GPA (GPA must be listed on your resume to be considered) • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance Desired Qualifications: • Experience with Python, Solidworks, LabView, and other engineering tools • Understanding of assembly and alignment of systems • Lab, test, and design experience from class and outside projects Clearance: Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
