Join our team as we help shape the future.    Overview of the role: This internship will provide the opportunity for a student to collaborate across the Hartford Funds Marketing department, with primary responsibilities including supporting the communications and content marketing teams in areas such as research, content development, campaign execution, and writing.   Responsibilities: • Assist with the development and execution of marketing communications across email, web, social media, and other digital channels • Support email marketing initiatives, including content development, proofreading, coordination, and campaign execution • Support article creation, including outlining, interviewing, gathering feedback, using AI tools, and writing pieces for the Hartford Funds website • Assist with digital marketing and promotional activities, including social media, email, web, and podcasts • Assist with coordinating marketing materials and communications across internal teams • Provide support to the website team, including design and testing of web pages and CMS maintenance • Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and brand alignment • Assist with research and other communications projects as needed Qualifications: • Must be a student in good standing currently enrolled in college • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive • Solid understanding of marketing, communications, and digital media • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office • Interest in email marketing, content development, digital communications, or related marketing disciplines • Strong ability to multitask and handle several projects simultaneously • Willingness to take on new projects and support the team where needed Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
